- CC 2 CC 3 Church buildings This is a set of three powerpoints comprising 116 slides of church buildings. The slides in this set of powerpoints were all taken in the Barossa Valley and Lower mid-north of South Australia. They show church buildings of various denominations in both rural and rural township areas. Architectural styles reflect Germanic, British and Italian and modern influences. Some interiors are shown. Depending on the focus, they are a useful resource for CC2, CC3 key ideas. Apart from the wealth of material that can be explored via the buildings themselves, the signage boards, too, lend themselves to inquiry into church names and congregation practices.
- CC 4.1 Cultural and historical contexts of scripture The tasks support student inquiry into the cultural and historical contexts of scripture. The tasks were designed with Year 8 students in mind. Tasks involve students in biblical exploration: using the Bible, examining and analysing parts of the Bible, and reflection on their discoveries as they search to find out and understand more about biblical context and its relevance for today. The tasks support the key idea CC1: 'Christians believe the Bible is God’s Word' and, in particular, the outcome CC 4.1.

- Resurrection crosses Churches share the Easter message in many ways. On Easter morning each family at Strait Gate Lutheran Church, Light Pass, came to worship with colourful crosses they had made to represent the resurrection joy. Each cross was 'planted' to make a garden of crosses. This installation was inspired by The Hill of Crosses in Siauliai, Lithuania. The slide show would make a useful resource to support units based on CSCF CC2 and/or CC3. Links to The Hill of Crosses by searching 'The Hill of Crosses in Siauliai, Lithuania' online.
- The festival of Easter This is a short powerpoint presentation on the meaning and significance of Easter. This is to compliment a unit about Christian Festivals. The students are asked to investigate, research and present the significance of various Christian Festivals, celebrated during the year.

- [Dialogue Australia October 2001 p 25-29] "For two millennia the Bible has given a tremendous impulse to moral thinking and action. In recent times it has inspired Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela in their struggle for justice and civil rights, as well as the compassion of Mother Theresa for the poor and dying in Calcutta...."
