School professionals

The LCA's vision for school leaders and teachers is that they are well-equipped through ongoing professional learning and that they continue to grow in their ability to contribute to the mission of the school.

Teaching in a Lutheran school

Teachers in Lutheran schools play a vital role in the ministry of the school.   Lutheran Education Australia affirms and appreciates the important contribution of teachers to the life of the school.

Lutheran Principals Australia

Lutheran Principals Australia (LPA) seeks to encourage professional growth for existing and aspiring principals by promoting ongoing learning, facilitating avenues for collegial support, and providing a voice for Lutheran principals.

Accreditation is the means whereby the Lutheran Church of Australia can be assured that its teachings are known and understood by those who work as educators in Lutheran schools, and that those who lead the school or teach Christian Studies have an adequate grounding in Lutheran theology.

Valuing Safe Communities

The Valuing Safe Communities program focusses on the development of positive and safe communities in all Lutheran schools and early childhood centres.  It integrates national policies, procedures and guidelines and embeds the LCA Safe Place Policy within it
