A shared story. A shared future.

The new exhibition centre at Church House in Adelaide is a dedicated space celebrating the story of the Lutheran Church in Australia and the people, ministries and milestones that have shaped its mission over time. It invites visitors to explore our shared heritage and reflect on how this story continues to inspire faithful service today.

Lutheran Education Australia is excited to be partnering with the Lutheran Church of Australia, with the generous support of LLL Australia, to bring this significant exhibition online through an interactive virtual tour.

Pictured are Jodi Brook and Jodie Hoff, celebrating a collaborative project (together with Lisa McIntosh, Exhibition Centre Coordinator) that will make this rich collection accessible to learning communities, congregations and the wider church across Australia.

More than a history of Lutheran schooling, the exhibition tells the story of God’s faithfulness through the many ministries and agencies of the Lutheran Church in Australia. By bringing it online, people everywhere will be able to explore our shared heritage, discover the people, places and moments that have shaped our church, and deepen their understanding of the mission we continue to share today.

The virtual exhibition will also include curriculum and learning resources to support schools, early learning services, congregations and study groups to engage more deeply with our shared story. These resources will encourage learners of all ages to connect our history with today’s mission and consider the part they can play in God’s ongoing story. We will give you further updates about this project later in the year.

Together, we’re making our shared story more accessible, strengthening our collective identity, and inspiring future generations to continue serving with hope, purpose and faith.
